Q: What is the event date and time?
A: Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 4pm – 9:30pm (doors open at 3pm)

Q: Where is Freedom Fest located?
A: On the grounds of Christ’s Church Mandarin Campus (6045 Greenland Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32258) – Need lodging info? Go here.

Q: Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
A: Freedom Fest is primarily an outdoor event on the grounds of Christ’s Church however we will have our facilities open with an indoor café, eating area, and our worship center will be open with a free showing of for King & Country’s PRICELESS movie (playing ongoing throughout the event). Our primary artist stage is outdoors on a large open grassed field (you are welcome to bring blankets and chairs).

Q: What if it rains?
A: First off, pray that it doesn’t! Seriously, join us in prayer that everything with the event goes off without a hitch! BUT, if it does rain we do have a back-up plan to move as much as we can to our alternate indoor stage.

Q: What is the “cause” the event supports?
A: Freedom Fest is more than a concert, it’s also a cause to help end human trafficking in Jacksonville! #forjaX – By attending or supporting Freedom Fest you are helping us to build a safe house in Jacksonville that will be used to help rescue girls from human trafficking (it’s a big issue that you might not even be aware of). Learn more here. This effort is being led by Christ’s Church in partnership with: Her Song, Rethreaded, and for King & Country.

Q: What time will each artist / band play?
A: Play times are listed below. Times subject to change without notice. Please plan to arrive early and allow adequate time for parking, etc.

Q: Are there artist meet and greets?
A: There are no “scheduled” meet and greets however most artists will conduct meet and greets at their merchandise tables (time permitting).

Q: How do I get a ticket and how much are they?
A: Tickets are $10 per person (children 5 and under are free). You can purchase tickets here in advance or at the door. We highly recommend purchasing in advance as it will help you avoid lines at the gate.

Q: What does ticket admission include?
A: Your event ticket is a general admission ticket good for admission to the event, access to all the concerts, activities and fireworks. Your ticket does not include food from vendors, which you would purchase on your own. Most vendors do accept MC/Visa and Debit.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Blankets, lawn chairs, sunblock, yourself and a smile.  The blankets and chairs are optional but might make you more comfortable as you enjoy time with us. The sunblock, well… it is Florida in June, even in the evening. We do have activities inside but the main stage is outside. Last but not least… while we will have several ATM’s on the property and while most food vendors do accept Visa/MC, you may also want to bring cash for food and/or merchandise.

Q: What CAN’T I bring?
A: No large coolers, outside food/beverage, animals, drugs, alcohol, or guns are permitted on the property. Please no tents or large umbrella’s (they block the view for others). No bad attitudes either! : ) Event management reserves the right to remove anyone from the event for any reason, including violating the items above or being disruptive in any way. This is a family friendly event and we want everyone to be safe and have fun! Bags may be checked upon entry.

Q: What about food from vendors?
A: We will have many vendors available for food, treats, drinks, water, etc. Food from vendors is NOT included with your admission ticket and must be purchased separately from the vendor of your choice, if you choose to purchase food. Many vendors do accept Visa/MC/Checkcards however cash is preferred and will move you through food lines faster. We will also have a few ATM’s onsite. 2017 food vendors include: Chick-Fil-A, Zaxby’s, CC Food Tent, Dagwood’s, Moe’s, Delish Kabob’s, 5 Loaves 2 Fish, Chubby Boys, Big Island Bowls, Treemendous BBQ, SnoBalls, Guanabana, KIlwin’s, Sweet Treats, TRT Funnel Cake, Front Porch KC, Julie’s Sweet Stuff and CC Cafe

Q: I’m coming in from out of town. Where should I stay?

Q: Can I bring my own food / picnic?
A: Sorry, but in order to make sure that our vendors have a successful experience as well, we ask that you refrain from bringing any outside food or beverage items to the event. We will have food vendors as noted above and we will have plenty of water stations with bottled water and drinks for a fair / reasonable price.

Q: What about parking?
A: Parking is available (free) at Christ’s Church Mandarin Campus while space permits. We will also have additional off-site overflow parking at Mandarin High School with shuttle buses running patrons back and forth (also free). Shuttles run times coming soon. Please note: We expect traffic to be heavy so please come prepared with patience and an expectation of traffic delays.

Q: What about artist merchandise (t-shirts, etc)?
A: We will have tents with artist merchandise such as t-shirts, CDs, etc. We’ll also have tents with additional items such as Freedom Fest T-Shirts, The Giving Keys Necklaces, MudLove Bracelets and more. Many vendors do accept Visa/MC/Checkcards, however cash is preferred and will move you through food lines faster.

Q: I’m coming in from out of town. How do I get there and where can I stay?
A: Christ’s Church is located at 6045 Greenland Rd. Jacksonville FL 32258. Since we don’t know where you are coming from, it is usually best to simply Google Map directions to us and from your location. As far as hotels go, there are plenty of hotels within a short drive of the church. Here are a few.

Q: Restrooms?
A: Yes, we’ll have plenty of these both inside and outside via a combination of Port-O-Potties and indoor facilities restrooms.

Q: Handicap Access?
A: We will have an appropriate amount of handicap parking spaces available on site at the Christ’s Church campus for those who have an official handicap parking pass. There will also be drop-off zones for access and overflow. Please note that while there will be handicap parking and access, the majority of this event is outside on grass lots. The main stage is a distance from the parking lot and will require considerable walking / wheelchair distance. Note: Like all parking, we only have a limited number of spots / space on the grounds of Christ’s Church. We will have overflow parking at Mandarin High School with shuttle buses running back and forth (free of charge) as well.
